The Women of the ELCA’s ministry revolves around three areas of “mission”:

MISSION COMMUNITY - To enable each woman to value herself and others as created in God’s image and redeemed through Christ; and to build up and celebrate relationships which are global, diverse, and interdependent.

MISSION GROWTH - To provide a variety of learning experiences which strengthen each woman as a whole person, develop her potential and equip her for ministry.

MISSION ACTION - To enable women to articulate and act upon their faith as disciples of Christ in all areas of life.

Our Quilters meet on Wednesday mornings from 9:00-11:30, September through May. This small group of dedicated quilters provide quilts to those in need oversees, in the US, and locally. It is a time of quilting, conversation, coffee, and goodies. All are welcome and no quilting experience is necessary.

If you can’t make it weekly, come when you can. We also have quilt top kits you can take home and sew if you prefer.

Prayer Shawl Ministry typically meets the 4th Tuesday of the month at 9:30 am from September to May. The group comes together to work on prayer shawls, pray for others, and enjoy fellowship. Can’t make it? Yarn is available for you to use at home.

Women’s Coffee and Conversation Group meets at 9:30am on the first and third Tuesdays of each month during the school year. Our discussions are based on the gospel lesson for the following Sunday and we use the Daily Discipleship Bible study series. These discussions enlighten us and strengthen our faith as we apply them to our daily lives. All ages of women are welcome.
