Pre-School and Elementary Age Programs

Sunday School is open to all PK-5th graders - you do not need to be a member of St. Andrew’s!

During our regular Sunday School time we use the SparkHouse curriculum, arts and crafts, hands-on learning, Godly Play, songs, videos and, of course, the Bible, to learn fundamental stories and how we apply them to our lives today! To register for Sunday School click HERE,
or fill it out at church at any point.

Sunday School

Following the Children’s Sermon, each Sunday, any child 3 years – 5th grade may (with parent/guardian permission of course!) follow Betsy out of the Sanctuary to the Ed Wing.  Parents/Guardians can join us after their coffee and treat for our final song and prayer!

Release Time

We are fortunate that in Grand Rapids the school district still allows for - and even facilitates - Religious Release Time. On 13 specific Wednesdays between October and April, 3rd - 5th grade students are able to leave school, be bussed to St. Andrew’s, for about an hour of faith-based fun and instruction, before returning to school. Students need not be members of St. Andrew’s to be part of Release Time at St. Andrew’s. All are welcomed!

Our goals with Release Time are simple: St. Andrew’s is a place of love and safety. You are loved, welcomed and appreciated. God loves you. If that is all some of the kids get as an overall message, we can consider what we do a success.

Sign up to be part of Release Time at St. Andrew’s by asking your teacher for a form.
